Fracas is the crown jewel in the collection of Robert Piguet Parfums. A cult favourite, created in 1947 by genius perfumer Germaine Cellier, it is a legend and a trendsetter. Cellier dreamed of a perfume that would make its wearer feel like a bombshell. The result was Fracas, a fragrance that is provocative and glamorous, dramatic and elegant.

My mum wore this in the nineties and I always wondered what it was. Finally got a bottle last month. The tuberose is absolutely suffocating in the best way possible, backed by like fifteen different florals that somehow don't turn into chaos. Sandalwood and moss keep it grounded. Polarizing fragrance but I'm obsessed.
