“Orris Noir was partly inspired by the elegant dignity and beauty of Queen Rania of Jordan. I had in mind a very spicy Oriental, but not one other type that enters a room before I do! The black iris is a very dark purple, almost defiant and mystical, but once its fragrance develops on the skin, it is not remotely heavy. It leaves a complex yet comforting drydown.”
