
Island Water Women is a tribute to the free spirit Musa-Shiya, called "The Shirtmaker", the inventor of the Hawaiian shirt. Driven by his restless creativity and strong entrepreneurial spirit, Shiya moved to Honolulu from his home country Japan in the early 1930s.
