In 1935, Albert Fouquet traveled to Egypt to visit his childhood friend Ahmed and fulfill his dream of exploring ancient Egyptian culture, the birthplace of perfume. Fascinated by the pyramids, temples, and traditions of aromatic offerings, he also discovered exotic flowers in Ahmed’s villa garden.\n\nInspired by these new scents, Albert returned months later to craft a unique fragrance. Back in Paris, he finalized the formula, creating “Egypt,” which became one of the most exclusive perfumes in his private collection, embodying the richness and mystery of his journey.
