Cedramber ™ gives a great ambergris-like exalting effect but adds a lot of woody aspects with its dry, cedar and woody tone.Discovered in 1966, Cedramber ™ is made from Cédrol, a sesquiterpene alcohol present in the essential oil of conifers (cedar oil). Cedar definitely deserves the title of one of the first natural scents used by man for flavoring and creating perfumes. In ancient Egyptian mythology (around 6,000 years ago), the cedar was a symbol of heaven, earth, and the underworld, and its scent was closely associated with all that was sane and divine. Cedramber ™ gives a great uplifting ambergris-like high, but adds lots of woody overtones with its dry, cedar and woody notes. In its composition, the note of cedar wood clearly dominates, it is fresh and even steel, but without all the harsh scents of "pencil shavings". Cedramber ™ sits between amber and patchouli.
