"In 1991, Bret Easton Ellis published his iconic novel American Psycho to a storm of controversy. To me, American Psycho is a metaphor for the darker side of the American Dream. The book significantly impacted pop culture and has over the years developed a cult following and status. In the creation of this eau de parfum, I tapped into a few key elements from the book as well as its subsequent film adaptation released in 2000: Bateman’s vanity rituals, fine sparkling water, icy sorbet and Wall Street in the 1980s," Johan Bergelin, Founder.
